Simple Pumpkin Cookies

I am a pumpkin freak! I get positively giddy when I see pumpkins for sale. If my local grocery store would announce the day they start selling them, I would camp out in a tent so I would be the first one in line to get one. It would be better than camping out for concert tickets because pumpkins last longer than a concert. Since my local grocery store manager will not cooperate and tell me the day my beloved pumpkins go on sale, I make my own simple pumpkin cookies every year. Look out Mr. Grocery Store Manager, I will tempt you with cookies until you cave.

Simple Pumpkin Cookies thebearfootbaker.comSometimes simple cookies are exactly what I want. Don’t get me wrong, I want to make beautiful pumpkins and I have some designs worked up but, I will always make these. I think they’re perfect when you make them with LilaLoa’s Chocolate Cookie Recipe. It is amazing how much drama you can add to a cookie design by using chocolate cookies.

Next, spray the outside edge of the center section. Set the airbrush gun on low and hold the gun about an inch away from the cookie. You can practice the distance on a piece of parchment paper to get the proper thickness of spray you want.  Let it dry for about 30 minutes.

Which one do you think will tempt the grocery store manager?  I will be the first one to get a pumpkin next year! It is on my bucket list and it needs to be crossed off!

PS- I will not sleep in a tent at a grocery store. I only camp where there are functional bathrooms! Enough said!
