Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Cookies
After Christmas last year, I went to my local Wal-greens Drug Store and saw a Micky Mouse Snowman cutter. It was a cute unique cutter so I grabbed it! I saw it the other day and asked myself what is better than a Mickey Mouse Snowman? Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Cookies!
This cookie is so simple it would be a great project to make with the kiddos. If you outline the sections, the kids can flood them. They could even make a candy face. Why didn’t I think of that before I made this tutorial? Maybe next year.
Don’t stress if you don’t have this cutter. Just combine a Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutter head like this one with the body of a snowman. Simple way to make it without searching all over town for this exact cookie cutter.
Supplies for Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Cookies:
Mickey Mouse Snowman Cookie Cutter
Royal Icing Recipe
Sugar Cookie Recipe
Orange 15 Second Icing in a decorating tip with a #2 decorating tip
Brown Thick Icing in a piping bag with a #21 decorating tip
Green Thick Icing in a piping bag with a #2 decorating tip and a bag with a leaf tip
First, outline the sections of the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Cookies. I made all of these different because I wanted to show you there is more than one way to make Mickey. I personally like the middle one the best but, make it however you want.
Then, with the orange icing, flood every other section and let them dry for about 20 minutes.
Next, flood next sections and let them dry for 20 minutes. Just be sure not to flood 2 sections that touch each other or you will loose the look of the pumpkin sections.
Once Mickey is flooded, let it dry for several hours before you add the stem and leaf.
Add a brown stem and a green leaf and let dry overnight.
If you are in a hurry or if you think the stem makes the pumpkin look like Minnie instead of Mickey, you can skip that part. If you don’t have a Mickey Mouse Snowman Cutter, you can make one with a snowman cutter and a mini pumpkin cutter. Hope you and the kids have fun in the kitchen baking up some Halloween Goodies!

So creative, Lisa!! Back in college, I used to live near Disneyworld in Orlando and always loved going during Halloween season. The weather was cooler and the whole park goes all out with their decorations. These cookies definitely brings back those memories.
Soooo cute and clever Lisa. Leave it to YOU to find a way to tie PUMPKINS, Mickey and Cookies all together into one fabulous cookie.
Such a cute idea, and executed perfectly!
The ears are my favorite part. (Is it weird that I have a favorite PART? I can’t help it. They are so adorably puffy!)
These cookies are adorable! Almost too nice to eat, LOL!
