How to Make Shamrock Sugar Cubes

Have you ever searched the web and came across something you couldn’t stop thinking about? The other day I was bored (aka avoiding work) and decided to look at different brands of sugar. I have always been the type of person that sticks to the brands I like without experimenting. Well, I came across a site on how to make sugar cubes.

I found the recipe on the Imperial Sugar website and I immediately thought of using this idea for Christmas, but I could not wait that long. These are so simple and a perfect food craft for kids. I can see them adding a spoonful of sugar to each shape and pressing it down with their little fingers. I may need to borrow some kids to help me make them.

Then, carefully pop then out onto a platter or a wire rack and let them dry for an additional hour or two. If some break, it is ok. Just add a drop or so of water and put them back into the mold. There are so many different shapes of molds available that the possibilities are endless.
