When she told me she had written a book about Gourmet French Macaroons, I imagined a cute little book filled with recipes and beautiful colored circle macaroons. Boy was I blown away when she pulled out her phone and showed me a picture of the cover of her book. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and let me tell you it was everything I could have hoped for and more.     I made a ginger macaron that was amazing, using ginger infused cream to make the white chocolate ganache filling, it was soooo good. I would love to win this book. The shapes are what I would like to try!

    never made one i have bought a mat to try the book looks amazing a must have

    I’m a purist and love vanilla bean macaron with either raspberry or caramel fillings. I haven’t conquered making a second batch of macarons but would love to master these light crispy chewy treats. Oh and to make them into different shapes would be awesome!

    I would love to learn how to make macarons in different shapes – although the round ones are just fine with me. I had some delicious macs in Paris, so many different colors and flavors. It was hard to pick a favorite!

    I first made them about 2 months ago and got REALLY lucky! I came out the way it was supposed to and
    tasted so good. I had not had a Macaron prior to attempting to make it myself. I fell in love and to see the

    Oh, I love macarons! So far I haven’t made really, really pretty ones myself, but the taste was good. Sóóóó love the taste of a good macaron, wether it’s raspberry, lemon, ‘regular’ or chocolate, it’s all really yummy :-). The favorite of my daughters is ‘regular’ filled with dulce de lece!

    Well, this one time I went to a surprise baby shower for a friend…and they had macarons. I am pretty sure I might’ve eaten all of them indiscriminately. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I SURE likey the green pistachio ones. I always save them for last. After I eat all of the other flavors =)

    The BEST macaron I’ve ever tasted was a lemon macaron with filled with super fluffy raspberry buttercream. It was like eating a sinfully tasty cloud! It had crunch, creaminess, and a tiny tang that was perfect! *sigh* Guess I know what I’m going to be baking this weekend now. :)

    Most interesting flavour Macaron I’ve tried was based on good old ‘salt and vinegar chips’ thanks to Adriano Zumbo.
    Best flavour I’ve made was a cherry and lime dark chocolate ganache which my former boss raved about until she died.
    Shape I’d like to see (but would be too scared to make) Perhaps something in the pacman and/or Rubik’s Cube genre!

    I have not tried very many, but I have had chocolate macaroons with a chocolate filling–delicious! Of course, U kobe anything chocolate, but a chocolate macaroon with a raspberry or salted caramel filling sounds fantastic too. :) Being a bit of a Doctor Who fan, I would love to see some made to look like the Tardis (or maybe attempt it myself someday).     Wow– the book looks amazing. I haven’t yet tried to make them as recipes always seem daunting. But a vanilla with caramel filling, chocolate with peanut butter, or pumpkin with vanilla filling really appeal to me, though I’m quite sure all recipes are delicious! And I agree with Kelly above; a Mickey Mouse shape would be awesome!
