I guess I will have to move to some artic place like Alaska to make that happen. Snow Cream Recipe thebearfootbaker.comIt snowed this week so I finally got a chance to make some. It actually snowed once before this year but, my grandma always told me not to make snow cream with the first snow of the season. I think the best part of this recipe is gathering the snow. You can do it a few ways but, my favorite is to place a pot or large bowl outside when the snow starts falling.

Snow for Snow Cream Recipe thebearfoootbaker.comThe only problem with that is we usually don’t get enough snow here to fill it enough to make a wonderful batch of snow cream. If that happens to you, take a large spoon and gather more until you have about a gallon of fresh clean snow.

Once you have enough snow, sprinkle the top with the sugar and add the milk and vanilla and mix well.
