Supplies for North Pole Cookies:
North Pole Cookie Cutter by Whisked Away Cutters
White Icing
Red Icing
Yellow Icing
Rainbow Colored Disco Dust
Begin by outlining the sign and the stripes on the poles with the red icing. Let it dry overnight.
Next, flood the sign with the red icing. Let it dry for several hours or overnight.
Then, fill the white stripes with the white icing.
Next, outline and flood the ball on the top of the pole with the yellow icing.
While you are waiting on the icing to dry, outline the base of the cookies with the white.
Use a small decorating tip such as a #1 or PME #1.5 to pipe the names with the white icing.
Let the cookies dry overnight.
Next, you will need to prop the cookies up and add the icing to the base so the name tag will stand up. Sweet Sugar Belle has a great tutorial on how to do this. You can find it here.
Once they are standing, add the “snow” icing to the top of the sign. While the icing and base are wet, sprinkle with rainbow colored disco dust.
Now that the cookies are made, all you have to do is figure out where everyone is going to sit. Did I forget to mention that the hard part of making a seating chart is your job? So sorry!
