Airbrush Gun Replacement for under $25!
Do you hear that? It is baking season knock, knock, knocking at your door. It is fast approaching and we need to make sure we are ready for it. I am not talking about piping bags and decorating tips. Although those things are important, we need to check things like our airbrush guns to make sure they are ready for the holiday stress we are about to put them through.
I have had several emails lately of people asking for airbrush gun help. Most of them just need some tips on how to take the airbrush gun a part and clean it while others need a new airbrush gun replacement. Don’t panic! I am here to help you save some money. Just because the gun needs to be replaced doesn’t mean you are going to spend over $100 to replace it. And I found a great video to show you exactly how to take your gun apart, clean it and assemble it again.
Airbrush Gun Replacement:
I know airbrush guns and systems can be confusing but don’t worry. I am here to help simplify the process.
First of all there are different types of triggers on airbrush guns.
- Single Action Airbrush Gun- On a single action airbrush gun, the air will flow out of the nozzle all the time. Once you turn on the machine, the air will flow out of the airbrush gun tip. It will not spray color until you pull back on the trigger.
- Dual Action Airbrush Gun- With a dual action airbrush gun will not let air flow out of the nozzle until you push down on the trigger. Then, you pull back on the trigger to release the color.
I will be honest. I don’t have a preference as to which one I like better, but if I had to chose I would say the single action because you simply pull the trigger to start airbrushing.
Now let’s talk about replacing the guns. This is a 0.4mm Single-action Airbrush Spray Gun Makeup Nail Cake Decorating Precision Air and right now (at the time of this post) it is only $24.95. So if your compressor is working and your gun is broken, don’t spend over $100 on a new system! Just buy an airbrush gun replacement for about $25.
This is a PointZero Dual-Action 2cc Gravity-feed Airbrush 3 Tip Set (0.2mm 0.3mm 0.5mm) and right now (at the time of this post) it is $23.99. Not a bad price huh? Before you purchase a new airbrush gun replacement, pay attention to the part of the gun that connects to the hose. Does it need a connector or does it just slide into the hose? You want to make sure to get one that will fit your system.
If you need to clean your airbrush gun you have to watch this video by Mike from Karen’s Cookies. It will show you everything you need to know!
See! Told you the video was very helpful!
I want to share a picture that Lilly sent me. She emailed me and was about to buy an entire new airbrush system. I think I kind of yelled, “NO! DON”T DO IT!” in my email. I didn’t want her to spend money she didn’t have to spend if it was just a broken airbrush gun. I sent her some Amazon links and she bought one. Then, she told me it worked perfectly and shared some pictures with me.
Aren’t her cookies cute! Thank you Lilly for sending me the pictures of your amazing cookies. I can’t wait to see more of your airbrush cookie art!
Now before you go buy one of these airbrush replacement guns, go to Amazon and type in ‘Dual Action Airbrush Gun’ or ‘Single Action Airbrush Gun’ to see all the different kinds to find one that will work best for you. I think you will be surprised how many affordable replacement guns you have to choose from.
