Don't buy a New Airbrush System-Try an Airbrush Gun Replacement | The Bearfoot Baker

Do you hear that? It is baking season knock, knock, knocking at your door. It is fast approaching and we need to make sure we are ready for it. I am not talking about piping bags and decorating tips. Although those things are important, we need to check things like our airbrush guns to make sure they are ready for the holiday stress we are about to put them through.

I have had several emails lately of people asking for airbrush gun help. Most of them just need some tips on how to take the airbrush gun a part and clean it while others need a new airbrush gun replacement. Don’t panic! I am here to help you save some money. Just because the gun needs to be replaced doesn’t mean you are going to spend over $100 to replace it. Need A Airbrush Gun Replacement | The Bearfoot BakerAnd I found a great video to show you exactly how to take your gun apart, clean it and assemble it again.

Airbrush Gun Replacement:

I know airbrush guns and systems can be confusing but don’t worry. I am here to help simplify the process.

Affordable Airbrush Gun Replacements | The Bearfoot BakerFirst of all there are different types of triggers on airbrush guns.

  1. Single Action Airbrush Gun- On a single action airbrush gun, the air will flow out of the nozzle all the time. Once you turn on the machine, the air will flow out of the airbrush gun tip. It will not spray color until you pull back on the trigger.
  2. Dual Action Airbrush Gun- With a dual action airbrush gun will not let air flow out of the nozzle until you push down on the trigger. Then, you pull back on the trigger to release the color.

I will be honest. I don’t have a preference as to which one I like better, but if I had to chose I would say the single action because you simply pull the trigger to start airbrushing.

I didn’t want her to spend money she didn’t have to spend if it was just a broken airbrush gun. I sent her some Amazon links and she bought one. Then, she told me it worked perfectly and shared some pictures with me. Airbrush Gun Replacement- Cookies by Lilly | The Bearfoot Baker
