Coconut Cake Recipe with Coconut Buttercream Frosting and Coconut Chips | The Bearfoot BakerDo you dirty ice your bundt cakes? I do when I want it to look pretty because no matter what I do I get cake crumbs ever where. Dirty icing helps keep it clean and pretty.

To keep your cake stand looking nice and clean, line it with strips of parchment paper. Coconut Cake Recipe with Coconut Buttercream Frosting | The Bearfoot BakerOnce your cake has been dirty iced (crumb coated) place it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Simple Coconut Cake Recipe with Coconut Buttercream Frosting | The Bearfoot BakerThen add the “pretty” layer of coconut buttercream frosting.Easy Coconut Cake Recipe with Coconut Buttercream Frosting | The Bearfoot BakerI don’t know about you but trying to make frosting smooth on a bundt cake is no easy task. Normally I make videos for you that show every step of the process. For some odd reason, I didn’t show how to make the cake but how to frost it instead. I think I love the coconut buttercream frosting so much I decided to make a video on that instead of the cake. Oh well, I will try to do better next time and make a video os the coconut cake recipe.
