A Moment to Remember

I don’t have any cookies to share with you today. Somethings are more important than cookies. I could not let this day pass without taking a moment to remember all those brave men and women who serve our country so we can be free. As I sit here at my computer and write this, I can’t help but think about families having picnics today. I wonder how many of those families have an empty place at the table because their husband, wife, father, mother, son or daughter has answered the call to serve our country. I can not tell you how grateful I am for the many, many sacrifices military families make. Not only are enlisted serving but, their families are holding down the fort while they are gone.

Today is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service. They have given the ultimate sacrifice. They gave their life  for me, a total stranger and I will never be able to say thank you. So right now, I am going to take a moment to remember their sacrifice and the sacrifices their families have made so we can worship and live the way we want.

Thank you so much to all who are serving and all those who have served our country! You will never now how grateful I am to you and your family!

God Bless You,

Lisa
