Fireman Hat Cookie for Daylight Savings

Are you wake? Well, go back to sleep because you get an extra hour today!! I know we all can use an extra hour of sleep. I wanted to make cookies as a little reminder to change the batteries in your smoke detector. Seriously, you don’t want the fire department to show up at your house. Maya cute fireman hat cookie will help you remember.

Fireman Hat Cookies thebearfootbaker.comI chose fireman hat cookies because I want to say thank you to all the brave men and women that risk their lives running into burning buildings when the rest of run the other way. I will never understand how they get the courage to do that.

I want to make a platter of cookies to take to my local fire house to show them how grateful I am for what they do. I don’t want them to come to my house because I forgot to do something as simple as change a battery in the some detector. Since you got an extra hour of sleep, you should be rested so go change some batteries now. I know that sounds bossy but, I say it with LOVE!

Fireman Hat Cookie thebearfootbaker.comI wanted to add a number to my hat and planned on it but, simply forgot. If you don’t want to pipe a number, you can always use a food safe marker once the white dries.

I love ya and if I could come to your house to change all your batteries today I would but, I can’t because I don’t have the magic of Santa. So do me a favor and go change your batteries now. If you have to go buy batteries, can you pick up a gallon of milk for me? I am out.

Happy Creating,

Lisa
