Airbrush Sugar Cookies with Video

I can’t begin to tell you how much I love fall. It is full of color, cool weather, and beautiful cookies. I almost love my airbrush gun (Wendy) as much as fall because I can have fall cookies anytime I want. It is easy to airbrush sugar cookies but, I wanted to make a little video for you to show you just how easy it is.

The hardest decision you have to make when designing these cookies is what color to outline and flood them.

Begin with cookies that have been outlined and flooded. If you are a beginner, I would suggest starting with cookies that are completely dry. With a little practice airbrushing sugar cookies, you will be airbrushing cookies with wet icing in no time.

I get a few emails each week asking me if you need to use special colors when you use your airbrush gun. The answer is YES! You need to purchase airbrush colors because they are thinner than regular gel colors. They are thinner so they will go through your airbrush gun. If you use regular gels (please don’t use regular gel colors in your airbrush gun) it won’t work and it will stop up your gun.

I usually make extra cookies when I airbrush so I can experiment with different colors. I suggest you play with your cookies and your airbrush gun so you can find different things you like. The most important thing to remember is to have fun with it.
