Hi Lisa, I love all your decorated cookies. So after making cakes for sometime, I have decided to jump in with both feet and give cookie decorating a try. They are so cute and some so beautiful. Like you I trust Martha Stewart recipes for sugar cookies. My problem is when I read all the instructions on making them it says to chill for so many hours or overnight. And I got a little ahead of myself and made the dough yesterday thinking all the cutters and other material would be here today and now I found out it will not be here until Monday will the dough keep that long in the refrigerator? Or should I go ahead and freeze it till I get everything. Also if I do freeze the dough should you defrost it in the refrigerator overnight before rolling it. Can’t wait to try this cookie decorating, I will send you photos when I get some if there are not to many mistakes. Thanks again for your great tutorials and recipes. And the strawberry crinkle cookies sound amazing.
