Hi Sara,

I thinned down a little brown icing and used a clean toothbrush to ‘flick’ it onto the eggs. It’s fun but messy! Be warned! hahah

In reply to Kathy. I agree. Black doesn't always taste good since it's bitter. I usually like to make a few black and white chickens with other colors for eating. I wish the black icing tasted butter.

So cute!!! I’m glad you mentioned doing the chickens in other colors–I love the black and white ones but I have an aversion to the black icing. But they are cuter in black and white! Are the speckled eggs cookies too?
