Hi Anna,

I place my cookies in the dehydrator for about 10 minutes then I remove them. LilaLoa has a great video and tutorial on the dehydrator and you can find it here:https://www.lilaloa.com/2016/01/decorated-cookies-and-dehydrator-what.html.

It’s hot and very humid in Queensland Australia at Christmas so my dehydrator is my life saver! I cut out my shaped cookies, then freeze them, then bake but they need to totally dry before decorating. Less disapointment.
