It feels like spring! This week the temperature has been over 70° and it’s the middle of February. Today the high is going to be 76° and tomorrow, are you ready for it, the high is going to be 78°! It’s hard to stay inside when the weather is calling your name and the temperatures are knocking on eighty’s door. I don’t know if winter will come back and give us another blast of cold or not so I’m going to enjoy this spring weather and make some Easter Confetti Cookies. Bunnies are cute and you can never have enough so let’s celebrate with confetti cookies!

I love animals. As a kid, I constantly looked for some kind of animal to see even if we were in the car. I would look out the window hoping to see some sort of wildlife because that brought me great joy. There were always cows, horses, dogs, and cats no matter what direction we drove, but sometimes I would get excited because I would see sheep. I loved cute little fluffy sheep, but I never got to pet one or feed it grain from my hand. The simple fact that I saw them made me happy and it still makes me happy today! If seeing a sheep can make me happy I wonder how making sheep cookies will make me feel.

Do you see bunnies everywhere you look? I’m seeing them in the grocery store, at craft stores, at the mall, and even in my yard. They seem to be multiplying by the minute, so keep your eyes open for them. Seeing them everywhere gave me an idea for some fun Easter cookies we can make. Let’s make some hanging mug bunny cookies with a little twist. Most hanging mug cookies are placed on coffee cups, but this Easter, let’s do something a little different.
