How to Make Strange Little Mini Alien Cookies

I all most named these cookies “How to Make Scary Little Dangerous Mini Alien Cookies” but the name was way too long. I wanted the word dangerous in the title because these cookies are dangerous! They’re cute, taste good, and they’re minis. Who doesn’t want to eat a million little mini alien cookies? Okay, maybe not a million, but probably more than a regular-sized cookie so be brave and beware because I’ve warned you about dangerous aliens!

I don’t know if you have a set of Sugarbelle’s Mini Shape Shifter Cookie Cutter Set, but I hope you get a set because I’m having a blast with mine. Look at the back of the box and check out all of the designs she provided for us. Then, look at the cookie cutters and let your mind go crazy because these shapes are easy to turn into different designs. I really, really, really like this set of cookie cutters!

Happy Birthday You Super Cool Pop

I did it again so please forgive me. I missed a chance to show holiday cookies in time for the holiday. YEP! That’s what I did. Holiday cookies were made for Father’s Day, but I didn’t get the tutorial ready in time. So what’s a girl to do? Well, as I thought about it, I decided these cookies don’t have to be Father’s Day cookies because they’ll work for any day of the year. They’ll work well for ‘Happy Birthday, You Super Cool Pop’ birthday cookies, You’re #1 Pops, or You’re the Best Pops EVER Cookies. Let’s have some fun and make “Cool Pop” cookies for our dads because we love them so much.

How to Make Simple Basketball Cookies

I like sports but I wasn’t a huge fan of basketball until I married my husband because he’s a basketball kind of guy and I’m a football kind of girl. Once we had kids my heart opened up to the constant bouncing and swooshing of that orange ball. I still like football better, but one thing we can agree on is sharing a few simple basketball cookies.

I have a dream. It’s a simple dream about making bread and different things that involve using yeast. You know, that magical stuff that makes everything taste delicious. The only problem is I haven’t invested enough time into learning all of the secrets of how to make delicious dough. I can’t seem to bring myself to slow down enough to learn how to make gorgeous artisan bread. It makes me sad, but at least I can make pretzel cookies that look like real pretzels.

I know it’s not the same, but it’ll have to do until I get brave and tackle the yeast!

Alien Cookies with a How to Video

Have you ever wanted to make a set of cookies but couldn’t get it to turn out the way you wanted? That happened with me on these alien cookies. I had an entirely different plan for them and I couldn’t make it happen. So I baked a few more cookies, changed my plans, and decorated a few planets, space guns, stars, and alien cookies. It may not have worked out the way I wanted it to but I think these little green guys won me over with their crooked little grins.

How to Make Star Trek Cookies with a Video

I want to tell you a little story about last week because I fell asleep on a plane in Tennessee and woke up in Texas. Don’t worry, Texas was my destination. A friend needed help with a really fun cookie project. I don’t want to give you the details of the project yet, but I will very soon in a fun cookie way.

Anyway, while I was in Texas we had a chance to go see the new Star Trek movie and it was really good. As a matter of fact, it is my favorite Star Trek movie to date because it was intense, funny at times, and entertaining all the way around. The best part is it inspired these cookies.
