In reply to <a href="https://thebearfootbaker.com/cupcake-bouquet/#comment-39676">Daneisha</a>.

I would recommend taking the cupcakes in a bakery box and assembling it at the location. If the person you're giving it to is going to transport it you might want to leave the box with them. I know it's a weird gift to have someone assemble their own gift but it's better than turning over in their car. LOL

Thanks for sharing your delivery story with me. You made me happy!

Loved this tutorial! I made one as a gift for my son's teacher last year and she loved it! The only thing I had issue with is transport. What would you recommend for deliveries? I thought it might stay upright if I simply sat it on the floor in my car but it kept tipping over :(

Hi Pat,

Man it has taken me forever to answer your comment! I'm so sorry!!!!!!

Congrats on the cupcake bouquet! I'd love to see your picture. When you all try something for the first time it makes my heart happy!

As far as the cupcakes not falling off the bottom row, it seems the first few are the hardest to work with. If you use a few toothpicks and put them close together it will help them hold each other in place.

I'm super happy you make a bouquet! ((Happy Dance for YOU!!))

I made a small one using different tips, for a friend. I figured 10-11 cupcakes. Ha! The bottom row kept falling off even though I angles them up. I finally just put a row of tissue paper then the cupcakes above that. They stayed fine. It was 7 cupcakes, total and turned out really cute. I made a lace butterfly out of Sugar veil and put it on the top of one of the cupcakes. How do you get them to stay on the Styrofoam ball at the bottom? I posted a pic on my facebook page I wish I could share it with you. It's my first time using the tips, and making the bouquet! Yeah me!

Did you try angling the toothpicks and using one or two per cupcake? See if that will help.

Beautiful job, Lisa!
I don't care for cut flowers for the exact same reason. I prefer receiving a plant for indoors, or flowers to be planted outside growing in my yard. And forget about cutting any flowers to bring inside (gasp!), I dead-head my plants which makes even more flowers. Win-Win! :)
If I received your awesome flower bouquet it would mold and go to waste....too stunning to eat!
