Hi Michelle,

If I wanted to take these to a July 4th party I would use shrink bags to package them. They are FDA Approved and since they take the shape of the cookie when you use a heat seal gun they will look like a flag when you arrange them.

You inspire me to keep trying my hand at the decorating. I like that it is a simple outline and flood. I am still decorating with glaze. I haven’t tried royal icing yet….I am afraid I won’t like the taste. May be use half of each and mix them together. I read where others have tried it. Have you?
