Hi Niurka,

If you want the royal icing to dry with a shine, just place them in front of a fan as soon as you decorate them. The air will help the top layer of the icing crust over quickly and will give it a bit of a shine. That’s all there is to it! 🙂

My oldest kiddo LOVES sheep (and goats)…these would be perfect to have at her High School graduation party. Your timing couldn’t have been more perfect!
As a kid, and even today, I am always looking out the windows in search of animals. I’m fortunate to live in an area some would consider “rural”, so I get to watch deer go about their day or sleep “hidden” among the trees, cows and horses meandering in a field, red tailed hawk on the hunt, and listen to owl conversing at night. But on extras lucky days, I get to see red fox, turkey, raccoon, and the occasional opossum.
Thank you for sharing such cute cookies and your clever idea of using the gingerbread man cutter for the sheep’s head. GENIUS!

These cookies are spectacular. My cookies when dry are a little more opaque. If I use your royal icing recipe I will obtain the same result or after drying have to put something else?

We traveled to England and Wales and saw thousands and thousands of them. It was a little fluffy heaven.

A few days ago I even got to hang out with two darling little lambs. They were hand reared and were just the sweetest little things. I cradled them in my arms and they were so content.

Your sheep cookies are adorable. I love the tray with the black sheep and your sweet message about being different. 🙂
