Hey Lisa,
I really loved your idea of music note transfers but when I tried to use your template I only got the double eighth note page. Is there also a page with the treble clefs and quarter notes?

Hi Arlene,
I have never covered an entire cookie with a royal icing transfer before but, I would do it exactly like a small transfer. You should make the transfers according to the size of your baked cookie. (Cookies spread when baked so use an actual baked cookie for the patteren instead of the cutter.)
Make the transfers and let them dry completely, remove from the parchment paper and add to a cookie with wet icing.

There are a lot of Mickey Mouse Cookie tutorials out there. You may want to Google them for a few tips.

I love the idea of transfers. I am thinking of taking this idea but instead of music notes, I want to make Mickey Mouse heads for my sons 1st birthday coming soon on sept 3 (side note I gave birth on Labor Day last year =/)
Anyway I was wondering after it true, how do you actually transfer the icing onto a cookie? Do you cut each wax paper a slide it off the wax paper carefully onto the cookie? Or any advice on the easiest way? My fear is that I waited 2 days for it to dry but end up breaking when trying to apply it =/
