Hi Kristine,

I always had a dull looking finish to my cookies until I read a post by Sweet Sugar Belle. She suggested drying the cookies with a fan and it really changed how my cookies looked when dry. Thanks for all the great ideas for royal icing transfers. Could you please do a bow or ribbon transfer tutorial? I was thinking about using them for Easter cookies (to put them on a lamb’s or bunny’s neck, on a basket of flowers, etc.)!! Thanks so much for all your great informative posts!!

I’m so sorry to hear you have been stuck inside the house! I feel guilty that our temps have been hovering around 70 degrees until yesterday…a bit cooler. Trust me, I will pay for it come summertime!
Love your ribbon roses. This is one that I just can’t get the hang of. I guess it is the “walking and chewing gum” at the same time syndrome….only for this, it is turning the nail and squeezing icing at the same time, ugghhhh! Of course yours are perfectly executed…great job as always and thank you for sharing the tutorial!

I love the IDEA of being snowed in, but I think I would like the reality much less 😉 Despite frigid temperatures for our area (12 degrees! Yikes!), no precipitation, so no snow, which makes me a very sad lady. Not that I would be going out in it with a newborn, but I just want to look at it 🙂 Be careful out there, if you need to venture out! I remember the pics from last year!

I love to be ready for what ever comes my way and these are just perfect! In fact, while I was out shopping I saw some royal icing eyes with long eyelashes and immediately thought of you – Lisa must make these!! Stay warm my friend, I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the mountains!
