These are just too cute. I have a soft spot for dinosaurs, and so as soon as I saw the title of this post, I knew I’d love the cookies. They’re even cuter than I was expecting!

In reply to Lisa. Thanks for the great suggestions! They actually live in Maryland (45 min. drive), but compared to my distance of 3000 miles, I consider that pretty close. :)

In reply to Sue {munchkin munchies}. SUE! It sounds like your grandson lives in a great location. Dinosaurs any time he wants! What could be better than that? FYI-I wanted to make a chocokate cake and break it into crumbs for the dirt but I ran out of time. He might enjoy that and you can even add a lake in the dirt with blue icing. I think that would be a cute little snack plate. Not that I want to give him a sugar hight, but you know, that is kind of what I do to kiddos! LOL

Oh my gosh, I LOVE these! I MUST make some for my grandsons that live close to the Smithsonian! When I visited in the fall we went, and of course the giant dinosaur skeletons fascinated them! Thanks so much, Lisa; they look awesome!

Lisa, I love you so much I am kissing you right now. Not on the lips but close. My soon to be five year old niece is having a dinosaur birthday party in a few weeks. She was clear with me that she wanted dinosaur cookies but not silly dinosaurs. Not pink dinosaurs. Not cartoon dinosaurs. REAL dinosaurs. So I planned to do bones but wanted something just more than that….THESE are them! I love you! Pucker up!!!
