In reply to Kelli. Hi Kelli, I use AmeriColor Chocolate Brown Gel Color. It does take a little more than you think. Just add a little at a time until you get the color you want.

I just love this cookie!! I’m all set up to make them but how do you get that rich brown color? I’m using Wilton paste and it doesn’t seem to get darker than tan. Am I just not adding enough?
