Hi Alice,

Yes, you can make the eyes, ears, and horn without Tylose Powder, I strongly suggest you use it. It really helps the fondant set more quickly. The eyes won’t really be the issue, but the horn is so large I think it will need help setting up firm so it won’t fall over on the cake.

I know you said you have ten days, but I honestly think you should use the Tylose Powder. If you don’t use it will you let us know how it turns out? I’d love you to share your results with everyone.

Hi Lisa,
I don’t have Tylose Powder. Can I make them with out it? I never used fondant so I know anything about it, but I am determined to make a union cake for my daughter’s bday. The bday is in 10 days can I make the toppers now without the powder and let them dry for 10 days?

Lisa, thank you thank you. My granddaughter just told me she wants me to make a unicorn cake for her birthday and I was looking for molds, which are quite expensive, and not the right size. I am going to start on this tonight. Thank you again. Love your videos. Again, thanks and please keep them coming.
