Football Cinnamon Sticks

Cinnamon, sugar and butter are the perfect blend of ingredients to top these delicious, tender football cinnamon sticks. Perfect snack for the Super Bowl.

Ingredients

  • Pillsburry Pizza Crust
  • 1/2 stick or 2 ounces of butter melted
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Flour
  • Icing:
  • 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar
  • 2 teaspoon of milk

Instructions

Pillsburry Pizza Crust

  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • Mix the cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg in a small bowl and set it aside.
  • Next, melt the butter.
  • Open the pizza crust and unroll the dough on a cutting mat that has been dusted with flour.
  • Use any football shape to cut the pizza dough.
  • Place the football cutouts onto a baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the melted butter on each football shapes. Be generous because the butter is part of the magic blend of ingredients that make these treats delicious!
  • While the butter is still melted, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture onto each football.
  • Use a fork to dock the dough. Docking the dough is simply adding holes in the dough so it will help keep the dough flat while it bakes. Just poke it several times with a fork.
  • Bake at 425° for about 5 minutes.
  • For the Icing:
  • Mix the confectioner's sugar and milk in a bowl.
  • Place the icing in a Ziplock bag or a decorating bag and drizzle on the top of the footballs.
