How to Make Shamrock Sugar Cubes


  • 1 1/2 cups Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 3 teaspoons water
  • 1 - 2 drops food coloring


  • Place the sugar in a large bowl.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix the water, extract and food coloring. Mix until all the sugar is the same color.
  • If the sugar is dry, add a little water until it feels and looks like wet sand.
  • Press the sugar mixture into the candy mold. Press tightly and remove the excess.
  • Let the cubes dry for about 30 minutes in place then, transfer them to a platter or wire rack and let dry for a few hours.
