Hi Michelle,

You can add royal icing transfers to buttercream frosting but you need to do it just before serving them. The moisture in the buttercream will cause the transfers to melt. I add them seconds before handing someone a cupcake with buttercream.

I suggest you make a batch and practice to see how long it will take for them to start melting. 🙂

Hi! These are so cute. I make bunny butt dipped Oreos, but the Wilton bunny feet are hard to come by.

I was wondering if you have a recipe for your royal icing. I’ve only ever used buttercream and I don’t want to mess up the consistency.

I made these today will add the pink once they are dry. I was really nervous about royal icing but all went well. Thank you for the awesome recipe. I am making bunny butt cupcakes and refuse to pay for pre-made. Thanks again.
