I love a good 15 Second Royal Icing Consistency. Here is a post I made about it way back in 2018:

I also use an outline and flood consistency on cookies and royal icing transfers.

The key is to practice and experiment with your icing. You will find what works for you. Don’t give up. Just keep swimming (or Piping) and you will find your magic consistency.

Hi Wendy,

I use a turkey lacer to help move the royal icing into small spaces in my cookies and to help even the icing out so it’s smooth when it dries. You’ll see me use it in almost all of my videos. 😉
