Are you looking forward to Easter this year? I know life is crazy right now and we’re supposed to stay home away from everyone for a few weeks. That means we may not get to celebrate in our traditional ways. Don’t let that stop you because you can make a fondant carrot for Easter that looks like a normal carrot with the kids.

Even if the kids live in a different state like my cute grandkids so, you can make a phone call and make these with them on Facetime. What if they don’t have fondant? Don’t worry. They can make their own with this Half a Batch of Fondant Recipe. Just because we have to stay inside doesn’t mean we can’t have fun!

How to Make an Adorable Fondant Chicken

Do you like chickens? I’m not talking about the kind of chicken you eat for dinner. I’m talking about How to Make an Adorable Fondant Chicken. This tutorial is using Sugarbelle’s Animal Shape Shifter Chicken Cookie Cutter as inspiration. I think this fondant chicken is so cute I actually used the chicken cutter to cut out the fondant comb to use on top of its head.

Sugarbelle’s designs and cutters are adorable. She’s so creative and somehow makes the cutters simple enough so we can make them by following her designs. They make great cookies, but if you look at the cutter a little differently, you can make fondant animals and other fun stuff. I promise you’re going to love it!

How to Make Fondant Details for Unicorn Cakes

Sometimes life is too busy to do all the things we want to do. I’ve seen all the gorgeous unicorn cakes all over the internet, but I haven’t had time to make them, until now. If you don’t have time to bake a cake don’t let that stop you.

All you need to do is call your local bakery or grocery store bakery and tell them what you need and when you need it. Then all you have to do is make arrangements to pick it up and do your own decoration which includes the horn, ears, and some cute little fondant eyes.

I love Halloween. I always thought it was the vibrant colors and fun costumes, but the older I get the more I realize there is something that I love even more than the colors and the costumes, it’s the creative food! How to make Fun Fondant Spiders for Halloween

Do you know the definition of arachnophobia? Arachnophobia is an extreme or irrational fear of spiders. I am not a huge fan of spiders but thank goodness I am not arachnophobic because I see spiders here all the time. Some of them are big and some of them are small but they are all creepy! And you know something funny, they were all inspirations for these fondant spiders. I hope these are a little cuter than the real thing! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, you can eat these instead of running from them. Sweet revenge!

Are you ready for a recipe for a small batch of fondant? I mean this recipe is just the right size for me to practice making characters and it is just big enough to make some cupcake toppers without any left over. This small marshmallow fondant recipe is 1/4 of the size of a normal batch which makes it perfect for cupcake toppers and a perfect size to practice making characters with so don’t have a ton of it left over.

Have you seen some of the amazing cookies that are decorated with those cute little fondant flowers? They are beautiful! As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to find those little blue fondant flower molds and make a bunch add to my cookies.
