One of our grandmas made Christmas ornaments from pill containers for my daughter. She used angel hair for filler, small angels and other small figures. She put gold cord glued to the bottom for hanging.

Where did you find those cute stickers! Are they individual stickers? They look like one sticker that wraps around the entire bottle. I love this!!!

I just started doing this with the bottles from my husband’s glucose test strips just a few weeks ago. I would think that the M&M bottles would also work

I just stumbled upon this post. What a fantastic idea. I have those Wilton storage containers but you can’t tell what the tip size is unless you open the container and pick up the tip to find the one you want for piping or flooding. Thanks for sharing. ……..and I love how you decorated them! So cute!

Such a brilliant idea!! I wish I hadnt thrown out the two gallon bags full of pill bottles now…lol my hubby takes meds and I was saving them for awhile. but I hadnt figured what to do with them… now I see how many things that can be dine…. I never thought about painting them!!! Wow excellent idea!!! I hate trying to read those numbers on the tips. This will save me lots of time. !!! You just gave me an idea! You can decorate them to fill with goodies to put into the kids christmas stockings wrapped in festive paper, or how about in easter baskets too!!! YOU ARE BRILLIANT !!!! thanks !! I will start saving them again!!!

So awesome. I never have a place for them. My hubby has Lyme disease. We have sooooo many pill bottles that I can buy enough tips for a long time.

Thanks Lisa! Yeah, I wasn’t sure if any paint would stick. I am going to try it this coming weekend. I love the colors (and stickers) you used.

In reply to KimB. Hi Kim! I used some paint I had around the house and the can said it was for plastic. Since you are not spraying the inside you can use any brand you want. I do however, like and use Krylon for many of my projects.
