Happy camper cookies that will make you smile seemed to be the perfect title for this post. My family and I used to go camping all summer long. Once school was out we would go to the lake and set up the camper and have a blast! I didn’t want to stay in a tent because things can crawl inside with you. You know, uninvited things like a snake or a bear. No thank you! My favorite part of a camper is the doors. And the sound of things that flush. Flushing sounds way better than things that rattle and growl.

So you see, happy camper cookies will make us smile while we know we are safe! No creepy crawlers here because we have doors! Now let’s see how to make them.

How to Make Beautiful Burlap Sugar Cookies

Right now I’m in my kitchen writing this post while two of the cutest bunnies are in my backyard hopping around looking super adorable. It’s not unusual to see rabbits or other cute cuddly friends in the yard while I decorate cookies. As a matter of fact, seeing nature from my kitchen window has inspired me to make things like these burlap sugar cookies.

I know the bunnies outside aren’t made of burlap because if they were, they would never be as cute as burlap cookies. When you think about it burlap cookies aren’t as cute as the real bunnies. I guess we need both to be happy so it’s a good thing we know how to make cookies!

I have a wonderful surprise for you today!!! Callye from Sweet Sugar Belle is here to share one of her pretty cookies with us! She is an awesome cookie artist and she has taught me SO MUCH about decorating! Her tutorials always make that little light bulb over my head go off because of her creativity. It’s the first day of spring which means that things are about to get very busy for Lisa at camp. So, I’m here today to keep you entertained while she’s out mowing, painting, and doing all the other fun stuff that comes along with running a camp.

I have a little spring fever myself so today I’m going to make pretty little bluebird cookies.
