Happy New Year! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and had fun welcoming the new year. It’s a brand new year and I’m ready to make cookies, bake delicious sweets, start new adventures, and plan all kinds of new things to make 2022 amazing! I only have one little problem. I need to be organized and without the help of a planner, I am lost. The 2021 Planner helped me so much last year I had to make one for this year.

How to Make Incredibly Gllamarous Sugar Cookies

Happy New Year! I know I’m a little late, but it’s never too late to say Happy New Year to all the amazing people in the world. You can totally say happy anything with these incredibly glamorous sugar cookies! Do you get the g-llama-rous part of the incredibly glamorous cookies? I was at Cracker Barrel the other day and saw a coffee cup with a cute llama wearing sunglasses and the word “G-llama-rous” on the top of the cup. It was really cute and totally inspired these llama cookies. My llama doesn’t look like the llama on the cup, and I didn’t add sunglasses or make the llama the same color, but keep in mind, it’s your llama, and you can decorate it any way you want.

2016 Homework Calendar

Yesterday I was reading a few blog comments and I saw one that needed my attention ASAP. Karyn is a teacher and she left a comment on my blog saying she was going to use my Free 2016 Calendar as a homework calendar for her students. It made bells and whistles go off in my mind. Why not make the kids their own 2016 Homework Calendar so they will be as organized as we are!

What’s better than a good old sugar cookie? Sprinkle sugar cookies of course! Take a simple sugar cookie recipe and add any color combination of sprinkles to make festive cookies for holidays and special occasions. Red, green and white sprinkles for Christmas cookies or orange and black for Halloween cookies or you can add someone’s favorite colors for special birthday cookies.

How to Make Star Cookies that Actually Sparkle

Do you ever shoot off fireworks? If you don’t, let me encourage you to try it this year. I am one of the lucky ones that get to help set off the fireworks at the camp 4th of July Celebration. It is a massive show and there is never a dull moment. It takes timing, communication and a lake to jump into incase something goes wrong like when I accidentally shot my son Tylor with a roman candle. It sure was nice having a lake for him to jump into.

Incase you are wondering, yes that is a true story and Tylor wasn’t hurt. The container for the roman candle fell over after the first fiery burst shot out of it and Tylor happened to be in the direct line of fire as the second flaming ball shot out of the tube. He ran into the lake and wasn’t hurt at all.

Now I am not suggestion you set your son on fire this July 4th, but you can make these star cookies that actually sparkle to place on your holiday table. They are easy to make and your guests will get a bang out of them!

Free 2015 Printable Calendar

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend a lot of time with your family and friends. In the spirit of giving, I made something for you so we could celebrate the New Year together.

Are you ready for it? Here it is! Your free 2015 printable calendar. I hope you like it. I have mine hanging near my computer on a cute DIY clip board beside my desk. It is convenient because you can easily take it down to write notes or appointments in the little boxes. I never could write standing up leaning into a wall so taking this down to write important things works out great for me.

As alsways, feel free to resize them to whatever size tickles your fancy. They are made for an 8.5″x11″ standard paper. I printed mine on photo paper because I had a lot of it laying around and thought this would be a good use for it. And it was!

You can print one month or all of them depending on what you want. Enjoy!
