2016 Homework Calendar
Yesterday I was reading a few blog comments and I saw one that needed my attention ASAP. Karyn is a teacher and she left a comment on my blog saying she was going to use my Free 2016 Calendar as a homework calendar for her students. It made bells and whistles go off in my mind. Why not make the kids their own 2016 Homework Calendar so they will be as organized as we are!
Hearing all the things you all are going to do with your calendars has really made me happy because I feel like you’re letting me in your world a little when you share things like that with me. Sometimes being internet friends isn’t easy. We can’t grab coffee together. I can’t come watch your kids ballgames or even come over and see your Christmas tree, but when you share things with me it helps me feel more connected to you and that makes me super happy.
That is why I wanted to make a new 2016 Homework Calendar for Karyn’s class and all the school kiddos who have homework. Kids need room to write things down and we need to make sure to give them the tools they need to be successful. I know a homework calendar isn’t that big of a deal, but it might help keep them organized and develop good habits that will help them later in life. It’s the little things that make a big difference.
Free 2016 Homework Calendar:
As you scroll though the 2016 homework calendars you will notice two things.
- The weekends aren’t included because removing them helped make the squares a little larger so the kids have more room to write down tasks.
- The calendar only goes through May. If you guys like the calendar, I will make a new for the new school year.
Thank you Karyn for the inspiration for this calendar. And a great big thanks to all the teachers out there who spend day in and day out pouring love, time and knowledge into our kids and our future!
This is it for me and calendars this year unless you all have an idea you really, really think I should make. If you do, email me and I will do my best to help you out. I will be back soon with some cookies and sweet treats!
Bear hugs,
Lisa- You are awesome!
My students will love this! I teach Special Ed-Mild to Moderate, High School and they are always having a difficult time with deadlines; I believe this will help them. It’s PERFECT!
Most of all, thank you so very much for taking your time out of your busy schedule to making this for us. Your time is a true gift.
Happy New Year!

Thanks for all you do my daughter and I have started making cookies and have tried your sugar cookie recipes with your icing recipe and are doing pretty good for first timers. Bought several of the cookie cutters you suggested and made 300 cookies for a friend’s wedding.
WOW!!! You just started and have made 300 cookies for a wedding?!! That is so exciting! I love hearing stories like this.
Let me know if you ever need anything. I am always here to help!
Bear hugs!
Thank you so much! I printed the other calendar and came back today to print one for my 9 year old daughter. She wanted her own after seeing mine. We homeschool and were both super excited to see the homework calendar. She couldn’t wait to use it today!
Awe! I’m so glad she likes it! Thank you for sharing that with me.
Tell her to let me know if she needs anything else. 😉
Thank you Lisa!
