Simple Ice Cream Cone Cookies
I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but it is really cold here. It is 19º and will be -5º on Wednesday. We are expecting snow today and I can’t tell you how excited I am about it. I can’t wait to take a long walk and take some pictures and eat ice cream. You heard me correctly. I eat ice cream in the snow because you don’t have to worry about it melting and you know what they say, it is never too cold to eat ice cream. If you don’t agree with me, then here are some simple ice cream cone cookies so you can stay warm and still have your ice cream.
If you decided to eat a real ice cream cone instead of these ice cream cone cookies, I think you need to add a cute little smile these these guys have. It will keep you warm even if it is only 19º.

- Outline and flood the cone of the ice cream with the tan icing and let it dry for a few minutes.
- Next, outline the edge with the tan icing and make the pattern on the cone. Let it dry for several hours.
- Then, outline and flood the ice cream with the violet or the reddish-orange.
While the ice cream is wet, add the 4mm black edible pearls and the flower. You can find the flower video tutorial here and the ribbon rose video tutorial here. Let the cookie dry completely.
Once the cookie is completely dry, use a dry paint brush or a cotton swab to rub some pink petal dust on the cheeks.
