Sugar Cookie Recipe Chalkboard Printable
Hello! Remember the other day when I said we were going to cover the basics of cookie decorating? Well I wasn’t joking. I am going to start at the very beginning and try to cover everything I can to help you make cookies like a pro! To do that, we need to start with a good sugar cookie recipe. I’ve been playing around in the kitchen to come up with a tasty recipe that won’t spread when it’s baked. Before I share it with you and give you lots and lots of tips on how to make the perfect sugar cookie, I decided to make your life a little easier. Here is a free sugar cookie recipe chalkboard printable for you. Just print it and hang it on the fridge or place it in a frame it so you don’t have to look up the recipe every time you make cookies. Hows that for making things easier and more organized?
I will be back tomorrow to go over the recipe in detail and explain why our cookies don’t always turn out so good once they are baked. You won’t believe what can cause your cookies to spread. It is shocking to know that something as simple as sugar can turn your cookies into an ugly cookie blob.
Seriously, after spending all that time cutting the perfect shapes for your platter, you end up with a warped heart for your Valentine. No more! Transformers are toys not cookies. We want our hearts to look like a cute little clip art heart we found online and not like the one that gets your blood pumping. Okay, enough of that.
UPDATE: I just updated the temp of the oven. I had it on the image and download as 350° when it actually should have been 375°. Sorry about that. The printable and image have been fixed.
