It’s super simple and only has four ingredients so no worries about the difficulty level. How do I know they’re good? Because every time I make them they disappear in a matter of minutes. Mind-blowing cookie decorating isn’t difficult with a little help from someone who had the same struggles as you’ve had. Yes, years ago when I started I didn’t know about 15-Second Consistency nor did I know what caused craters or why my icing didn’t dry with a nice shine. As far as baking sugar cookies, I knew how to follow a recipe, but I didn’t know how to make the surface flat or how to keep my cookies from spreading as they baked.

Are you looking forward to Easter this year? I know life is crazy right now and we’re supposed to stay home away from everyone for a few weeks. That means we may not get to celebrate in our traditional ways. Don’t let that stop you because you can make a fondant carrot for Easter that looks like a normal carrot with the kids.

Even if the kids live in a different state like my cute grandkids so, you can make a phone call and make these with them on Facetime. What if they don’t have fondant? Don’t worry. They can make their own with this Half a Batch of Fondant Recipe. Just because we have to stay inside doesn’t mean we can’t have fun!

Do you like chickens? I’m not talking about the kind of chicken you eat for dinner. I’m talking about How to Make an Adorable Fondant Chicken. This tutorial is using Sugarbelle’s Animal Shape Shifter Chicken Cookie Cutter as inspiration. I think this fondant chicken is so cute I actually used the chicken cutter to cut out the fondant comb to use on top of its head.

Sugarbelle’s designs and cutters are adorable. She’s so creative and somehow makes the cutters simple enough so we can make them by following her designs. They make great cookies, but if you look at the cutter a little differently, you can make fondant animals and other fun stuff. I promise you’re going to love it!

When I was a little girl I loved to visit my aunt Wanda’s house because somehow she knew what foods and snacks I liked. If it has sugar, caramel, or chocolate there’s a good chance I’m going to love it. I still remember the first time she made Caramel Chex Mix because I fell for those sweet little squares that have had a special place in my heart. I don’t know why I haven’t shared them with you yet, but today, that changes.

Strawberry Crinkle Cookies are great for Valentine’s Day. You can make a batch from scratch or you can use a simple strawberry cake mix to make them. If I choose to use a cake mix I know I’ll get a great tasting cookie and I won’t have to spend all day cleaning the kitchen so it’s a win, win, win for me. White Chocolate Trail Mix is one of those snacks you can make in less than thirty minutes. I know some people only make it during the holidays, but you can make it any time and enjoy with your family. I think it’s things like this that make the holidays fun so why not make some anytime you want.

The M&M’s aren’t necessary, but I love the cheerful color they add. If you make this recipe at Easter you can add those cute Easter colored M&Ms. Make them on the 4th of July and add the red, white, and blue. Think about it, this can be really fun.
