Scuba Shark Cookie Decorations that will Make You Laugh
Scuba shark cookie decorations that will make you laugh because let’s face it, you don’t normally see a shark with diving gear. Who says we have to follow all of the rules while we decorate cookies? Not me because we can use our imaginations and add a few fun accessories to make us laugh. Below under the supply list, you can find a medium and large template for these cute little guys. I didn’t make a small template because I thought they’d be too small to decorate. If you’d like me to make a small one let me know and I’ll make it for you.
I don’t think I’ll ever go diving, but if I do I hope I don’t see a fish with big teeth wearing a scuba mask. I’ll admit this little guy will be cute on a cookie but not in the depth of the deep blue sea. I think I can handle it on a cute sugar cookie though. What about you? Do you go scuba diving or swim with big scary fish? If you do please be safe!
For now, let’s stick to royal icing sharks because we can take a bite out of them instead of them taking a bite out of us. Now I’m scared.

Bear hugs,
Hi Lisa, I am Mexican and I love your beautiful cookies. I have a question, here in Mexico where could I get the cookie cutters?
I am your fan and I would like practicing your technique.
Hug
Patty Ocampo
Hi Patty,
I get my cookie cutters online. If you look under the Supply List on my posts you can find the links to the cutters. I’m not sure who ships to Mexico but you could email them and ask.
Click the blue link under “Cutters” and you can find where I purchased them.
These Scuba Sharks are printable. You tape the pattern to something flat like a piece of foam board or the back of a baking sheet, cover it wax paper and tape it into place, then pipe the pattern with royal icing.
Let it dry completely and remove it from the wax paper. Later when you outline and flood a cookie, drop the scuba shark into the wet icing and let it dry. If you make them days or weeks ahead of time you can decorate your cookies really fast.
I hope I answered your question. Let me know if you have any more!
Bear hugs,
Lisa
What cookie cutter are you using to make these cookies?
It’s actually a pattern. You cover the template with wax paper, pipe the design, let it dry completely, remove it from the wax paper, and add it to a sugar cookie with wet royal icing.
They’re called sugar cookie decorations or royal icing transfers. You can make them weeks ahead of time so they’ll be ready when you make your cookies.
