Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I’ve shared a tutorial with you, but that ends today. I’m sharing one, and I’m super happy about it. How would you like to make pretty roses with thick royal icing? I hope you’re ready because here we go!

As you can see, the roses in the image above are not the same. We will make all of them eventually, but today, we will focus on two. They are both made with the same piping tips and the same consistency of royal icing.

How to Make Cute Chocolate-Covered Candy Cookies

Let me start by saying these cute chocolate-covered candy cookies do not have chocolate on top. Nope. The ‘chocolate’ that was used in making these cute little cookies is actually brown royal icing. Have you ever decorated sugar cookies with brown royal icing so it looks like a piece of chocolate candy?

I don’t know about you, but I love decorating sugar cookies to look like other things we know and love. These strawberries are a perfect example. Are you ready to decorate?

How to Make Simple Heart Cookies with Beautiful Roses

Simple heart cookies with beautiful roses are some of my favorite to make because, well, they’re beautiful and straightforward. These are no exception and the shape of each heart cookie makes them unique. Last year when I was at Cookie Con did a little shopping. One of the cutters I found in the Kaleida Cuts booth was this amazing heart cookie cutter. I’m glad it was a heart because it stole my heart and I was in love. Not to mention she had a great bear cookie cutter that became part of my cookie-cutter family. Man, I love cookie cutters!

How to Make Valentine’s Day Manatee Cookies

Do you like playing guessing games? I hope so because I want you to guess what cookie cutter made these cute little guys. I think you’ll be shocked when you see and how the idea popped into my mind. Adding a heart to the set made these a must Valentine’s Day Manatee Cookies project and I hope you get a chance to make them. If you don’t add a heart you can make the cute little sea cows any time of the year because they’re adorable.

Animal cookies such as these need a little airbrushing to push them over the top, but if you don’t have an airbrush system, don’t worry. These guys are cute with or without the added airbrushing details and I hope you make some for Valentine’s Day because it’s not too late.

How to Make Cute Valentine’s Day Panda Bear Cookies

What do you think of when you think of Valentine’s Day? Do you think of cards, candy, flowers, and cookies or do you think of a great big bear hug? Personally, in my world, bear hugs and cookies go hand in hand and what better time to share than on Valentine’s day. Come on, who doesn’t love a big bear hug especially when you give them Valentine’s Day panda bear cookies?

The great thing about these panda bear cookies is you probably already have the cookie cutter you need to make them. Can you tell what cutter was used to make the cute little guys? If you said an egg cookie cutter, you’d be correct. Another great thing about it is you only need two colors of royal icing. Does it get any easier than that? Well, you may need to add a heart cookie, but chances are you probably already have a heart cookie cutter so could it be any easier to decorate Valentine’s Day cookies?

How to Make Incredibly Gllamarous Sugar Cookies

Happy New Year! I know I’m a little late, but it’s never too late to say Happy New Year to all the amazing people in the world. You can totally say happy anything with these incredibly glamorous sugar cookies! Do you get the g-llama-rous part of the incredibly glamorous cookies? I was at Cracker Barrel the other day and saw a coffee cup with a cute llama wearing sunglasses and the word “G-llama-rous” on the top of the cup. It was really cute and totally inspired these llama cookies. My llama doesn’t look like the llama on the cup, and I didn’t add sunglasses or make the llama the same color, but keep in mind, it’s your llama, and you can decorate it any way you want.

Olive You My Cute Little Valentine

Olive You My Cute Little Valentine! Do you like olives? I don’t. Is that weird? I feel like I should like them, but I totally take them off the pizza and put them in a nice little pile on my plate. Now if olives have candy eyes and cute little cheeks, well then I’d eat them. What does that say about me? Does that say I’m totally hooked on sugar cookies? Probably.

Let’s take a closer look and see if we can figure out why olives don’t taste as good as sugar cookies. Maybe if I hot glue some candy eyes, cheeks and make some eyelashes maybe that will work.
