As you can see, the roses in the image above are not the same. We will make all of them eventually, but today, we will focus on two. They are both made with the same piping tips and the same consistency of royal icing.

Do you like flowers? I wish I could grow different kinds so I could stick them in Mason Jars and put them in every room of my house. I don’t have a green thumb because my thumbs are always covered in sugar, but that’s alright. I’d rather play in sugar instead of having to work outside all day. Mason jar cookies work better for me anyway so I can decorate them and give colorful bouquets to friends and family.

All you need is a good buttercream frosting recipe, a few decorating tips and someone to encourage you and you’ll be making beautiful cakes and cupcakes in no time at all. Spring has arrived and is in full bloom and I know that because everywhere I look I see beautiful flowers popping up showing off their vibrant colors and unique shapes. If you haven’t stopped to smell the roses or even take a moment to see how beautiful nature is, you need to do it today because you won’t be disappointed. If you don’t have time to smell the roses, make some daisy cookies instead!

Living in the mountains you see all kinds of wonderful things in nature. I have several beautiful wildflowers growing along my driveway so I stopped took a few pictures and it made me think about my blog. I was a bit surprised when I realized I haven’t made many flower tutorials because I love flowers. Today that is going to change because I have several tutorials planned. I think fun daisy cookies are the perfect place to start.
