  • The scary eye cookies can be made from number eight, sunglasses, Sweet Sugarbelle’s eye cookie cutters, or so many other cutters. Just look around your cookie box and see what you have that will work. I think you’ll be surprised at what you can turn into a spooky eye cookie cutter.
  • Once you find some cutters you like, bake some cookies and let them cool.
  • While they are cooling, mix the icing and grab your royal icing transfers.
  • Next, you’ll want to decorate one eye at a time and let it dry before you decorate the other eye. If not, the eyes will look like one eye and not two separate eyes. Waiting a few minutes will help your eyes look more natural instead of one big eye.
  • Flood one eye and place the royal icing transfers in the middle.
  • Let the eye dry until a crust forms on the surface of the cookie.
  • Then, repeat with the other eye.

  • Let the eyes dry completely.

Here is a little video for you in case you want to see another type of eye. It’s basically the same technique but with different shaped cookies.
