I love a little color in my life especially if it’s beautiful colors of royal icing like I used in these tassel cookies. Red, blue, green, yellow, and orange are wonderful colors, and making a plaque cookie is a great way to share those colors on a cookie in an organized beautiful way. How to Decorate a Simple Little Ballet Cookie

The fun thing about decorating cookies is you can make anything you want. I’m not a ballerina, but I dream of dancing like one. The only problem I would have is trying to dance in those shoes. They’re beautiful and elegant, but I’d never be able to pull it off. It would be the worst mistake I could ever make in the dancing world so I’ll stick to making a ballet cookie instead of trying to dance.

Happy camper cookies that will make you smile seemed to be the perfect title for this post. My family and I used to go camping all summer long. Once school was out we would go to the lake and set up the camper and have a blast! I didn’t want to stay in a tent because things can crawl inside with you. You know, uninvited things like a snake or a bear. No thank you! My favorite part of a camper is the doors. And the sound of things that flush. Flushing sounds way better than things that rattle and growl.

So you see, happy camper cookies will make us smile while we know we are safe! No creepy crawlers here because we have doors! Now let’s see how to make them.

What are you doing on August 21, 2017? Are you going to watch the solar eclipse live or on TV? I’m hoping I can see it live, but it won’t be a total eclipse for us. We are in the “line,” but off to the side a little. I don’t know about you, but I think this is very exciting. Do funny things ever happen to you? I don’t mean funny like opening a can of corn and those silly fabric snakes on springs jump out. I mean funny like looking at Bunny Ear Cookie Cutter, but instead of seeing the bunny ear you see a cute little dinosaur face?

It happened to me the other day as I looked at the bunny ear cookie cutter in the box because all I could see was a fun dinosaur cookie. Look at his cute little dinosaur face and try to imagine a bunny ear cookie cutter because with the Whisked Away’s bunny ear cookie cutter you get both.

Ballerina bear cookies have been on my mind for a while but I’m glad I waited before I made them because Sweet Sugarbelle’s Nesting Flower Cookies make this project super simple. Ever since I saw her Bowing Ballerina Cookies I’ve had the idea to make them Bearfoot Baker style with a bear instead of a cute little girl. Callye was actually inspired by Angelina Ballerina to make her cute little dancer cookies so I thought I would keep the inspiration going and make my favorite animal, the bear.
