I know it’s not quite time to make Easter cookies right now, but these jelly bean cookie decorations aren’t actually cookies. They’re royal icing candy decorations and we need to make them before Easter. They’re great for stress-free decorating.

It may seem weird, but I promise, now’s the time to get started, and the best way to make them is to use your leftover royal icing from the cookies you’re making now. I have several candy decorations planned for you, and I thought I’d start with jelly bean cookie decorations because they’re fun and colorful.

I also have a cookie planned for you, but I wanted to show you the decorations that go with them first because we all know having a few cookie decorations makes decorating cookies easier.

Where have I been? That’s a good question. I’ve been here working on various cookie-related projects, and I’ve been thinking of you all every step of the way. I’ve been making cookie cutters, helping to build an addition to my house that will be used for teaching cookie classes and other purposes. I’m learning to make and produce food-safe cookie stencils, working on my July 2025 – June 2026 Planner, and completing many behind-the-scenes tasks. You may not see me, but I promise you I’ve been working hard behind the scenes for you.

Let’s talk about the July 2025 – June 2026 Academic Planner. I need help keeping things organized, and sometimes I rely on notes to help me remember all the details. This Academic Planner/Calendar helps me stay on track. We all know each month needs a theme, so I’ve worked hard to make that happen for us. It’s hard to say which is my favorite, and I don’t have to because I have all twelve of them. I listed some of them below so you can get a sneak peek.

I was going to do individual posts on all these cute little reindeer, but I decided to make Ralph, Rex, and Rudolph all at the same time so we could get along with more Christmas cookies. Let’s think about this for a second. It’s “the most wonderful time of the year” for a reason and I think cute Christmas cookies play a huge part in spreading Christmas cheer. Don’t you?
