The best part is you only need a small amount of black royal icing and two colors for the snowman and the scarf.

Igloo Cookies That Will Make Your Heart Happy

Have you ever seen an igloo? I’m not talking about igloo cookies, I’m talking about a real-life you can’t build a fire to stay warm or it will melt all over your head kind of igloo. I haven’t, but I want to. I’d like to stay in one for a few hours, drink a cup of hot cocoa and see if an igloo is warmer than a tent. Even though I haven’t been in one I bet it’s warmer than the fabric of a tent.

Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! Or in a cookie decorator’s case, we should say something like sugar, butter, and icing, oh yum! Everything we do needs a little sugar and little butter and some delish royal icing. When you add them to cute little polar bear sugar cookies, it’s something we can be proud of. The great thing about these little polar bear cookies is the cookie cutter is so easy you almost feel like the cookies are decorating themselves.

How to Make Simple Mitten and Hat Cookies

Today is a beautiful day, but if you go outside you going to need a few accessories to help keep you warm. I stepped out to my car for about three seconds and I felt like I was going to freeze! I like cold weather, but if I’m going to be outside when it’s 25°, I want to feel warm and toasty like I’m curled up in a blanket with fuzzy socks. Then, when I come back inside, I want a few good mitten and hat cookies to help warm me up.

How to Make Adorable Polar Bear Cookies

Guess what? It snowed! I can’t begin to explain how beautiful the snow was sticking to every single tree branch making it look as if we lived in a winter wonderland that was made for just us. If you know me at all, you know I live for the possibility of snow. Any snow is perfect, but the snow that fell yesterday made me so excited, all I could do was run to the cookie-cutter cabinet and start looking for a cutter that would make me just as happy as the snow did. I found it. Nothing like a platter of adorable polar bear cookies to make me jump for joy and you can throw in a cute little pair of mittens and be set for a perfect polar bear cookie weekend!

Decorated Polar Bear Cookies

In case you haven’t noticed, there are a lot of bears on this blog because I am a bit obsessed with them. I love turning my favorite animals into treats, but the problem I have been having is trying to finding the perfect cookie cutter to make them. Until now I have been using a baby cookie cutter and hand cutting little pieces of cookie dough to use as ears. Well, all of that is in the past because The Cookie Cutter Kingdom has made the cutter I have been waiting for. I used it to make these decorated polar bear cookies and I couldn’t be happier.

Simple Penguin Cookies

I made some simple penguin cookies way back in the day when I first started this blog. It was basically these simple penguin cookies, but you see, I have been thinking about remaking them for a long time only this time, I wanted to make them with Christmas colors and add some “fish-flakes” instead of snowflakes. I know fish flakes are what you feed fish, but what else am I supposed to call these cute little fish? Fishbones doesn’t have a nice holiday sound to it so “Fish-flakes” it is.
