Let’s do this!

  • Begin by drawing two eyes and a mouth with the food-safe marker.
  • Draw the little curved line at the bottom of the ghost cookie.
  • Next, use some black outline consistency royal icing to outline the eyes and mouth.
  • Dampen a food-safe paintbrush and spread the black icing in the eyes and mouth.
  • Use a scribe tool to remove the excess royal icing. You can see how simple this is in the video.
  • Pipe a little gray royal icing and use a damp food-safe paintbrush to spread the icing in the space.
  • While the icing is wet spray some of the Flash Dust Natural Glitter – Original Silver or the Pearl Edible Glitter Spray to make the eyes sparkle.
  • Now you can outline the ghost, eyes, and mouth with the outline consistency white royal icing.
  • Flood the ghost cookie with the white flood-consistency royal icing. If you want you can spray the entire ghost with the pearl glitter spray to make him sparkle like his eyes.
  • Now you can add a cute little flower or any royal icing transfer you’d like to make your ghost cute. Follow the link for a pumpkin, bat, witch hat, or even chocolate chip cookie. Make them ahead of time so they can dry before you make your ghost cookies. Use your imagination and my FREE royal icing transfer template.
