Reindeer Cookies for Christmas

Merry Christmas! I hope you have “decked the halls”, “shopped until you dropped” and “jingled all the way” to wherever it is that you are going because it is time to bake Christmas cookies!

Remember yesterday when I showed you these Santa cookies? Remember when I told you that Santa cutter quickly became my favorite cutter? The truth is I bought the set because the reindeer cutter and not the Santa cutter. The reindeer made my heart skip a beat when I saw it. It is the most adorable reindeer cutter I’ve seen in a long timeand I knew the reindeer cookies would be adorable.

I think the shape of the reindeers head is what made my heart skip a beat. I knew adding a red Sixlet for the nose would push me into a cuteness overload.

Supplies for Reindeer Cookies:

15 Second icing in the following colors:

  • Tan
  • Ivory with a drop of tan icing
  • Each Color is in a piping bag fitted with a #2 or #2.5 piping tip

Royal Icing Recipe or Half a Batch of Royal Icing Recipe
Sugar Cookie Recipe or Gingerbread Recipe
4mm beads
Black Sixlets
Red Sixlets

Decorating Tweezers
OptionalAirbrush Gun with Warm Brown Americolor AmeriMist Color

Simple Reindeer Cookies with thebearfootbaker.comNext, outline the antlers with the ivory icing.

Easy Reindeer Cookies via thebearfootbaker.comThen, flood the antlers with the ivory icing and let it dry overnight.

Cute Reindeer Cookies via thebearfootbaker.comNext, flood the body with the tan icing. While the icing is wet, add a 4mm bead for the eye and a black Sixlet for the nose. If you want to make a Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Cookie, add a red Sixlet nose to one of the reindeer. Let them dry completely.
